Simultaneous order-picking of several orders saves both time and legwork

KBS offers a range of state-of-the-art order-picking trolleys for multi-order picking and goods and store distribution, individually tailored to your product range and requirements.

Using them is very simple:

The PickTerm Cart order-picking trolley can have any number of compartments, each of which has a Pick by Light compartment display panel. Each one of these compartments can hold a transport container or a dispatch container, into which the items for a consignment order are placed.
After the cart has been "fitted out" (i.e. fitted with the transport containers and assigned consignment orders) the order-picking can begin, with the operator guided to all the necessary picking points along optimised routes. He receives his instructions via a display or monitor that is connected to the WMS/LVS via WLAN.

The operator confirms that he is at the right picking location by scanning the picked article or storage compartment barcode. The display panel lamps on the container into which the article is to be placed, then light up. At the same time the number of items to be placed in the container is also displayed.
The operator confirms that all the items have been placed in the container by pressing the confirmation button on the display panel. If all the storage containers for a particular article are in use, the operator is guided to the next picking point.
This enables several orders to be picked in a route-optimised manner during a single transit.

A 5th castor guarantees easy manoeuvring with a full load. At the same time it enables the cart to be rotated on the spot.		Peripherals such as barcode readers for product checks can be connected to the cart.		The high battery capacity allows continuous shift work.		High-bay items can be easily removed with a foldable ladder.
