Intervention monitoring in material supply with
 The PickTerm Sentinel procedure has been developed to achieve "zero-error supply". 
With this principle, picking in each warehouse compartment is monitored by a sensor. In case of an intervention in the wrong compartment, the systems can react in different manners (acoustically and visually).
The operator is informed about his mistake before the incorrect item is processed. Fast acknowledgment without manual handling: The keystroke to acknowledge the pick can also be replaced by a sensor message.

The sensor for monitoring is located directly
above a compartment (figure 1) or above a skeleton container or pallet (figure 2) and is assigned to a shelf display.
