Data Acquisition and Storage

For the purpose of maintaining the security of the system, data are automatically transmitted and logged (e.g. the browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL, the IP address, date and time of access, contents accessed and information transmitted during the connection) when visiting a webpage. We are not able to attribute these data to persons. These data will not be fused with other data; they are used exclusively to maintain the functionality of the internet sites and the internet server. Data collected and stored are deleted regularly after four weeks (log files).

The legal basis of this type of data processing is stated in Art. 6 Par. 1f of the German General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), permitting the processing of data for the purpose of fulfilling a contract or pre-contractual measures.

We would like to point out that internet data communication (e.g. via e-mail) may be afflicted with security holes. It is not possible to completely protect data from being accessed by third parties.

We collect personal data such as name, company name, language or e-mail address only to the extent that you have provided them with your knowledge, for example within registration for download, newsletter or as far as they are required to fulfil the contract. Without these information you cannot start downloads. You have the right to withdraw your agreement at any time.

When a contractual relationship is to be established with our company, modified or its content is to be developed, we will collect and use your personal data as far as it is necessary for these purposes.

Automated decision making including profiling does not take place.

Data are stored on secure servers within the EU. Exceptions are specified below.

With activated SSL or TLS encryption, data transmitted to us cannot be read by third parties.
